2nd shift Production Facilitator - Berlin

Position Description:
Maintains safe work area by identifying and eliminating unsafe work practices and hazards; follows and enforces Generac safety guidelines; sets example of safe work practices
Hands-on facilitator of work flow, teams and materials to ensure production goals are met
Train new team members
Motivate team members to meet production requirements
Ensure work standards are being followed
Assigns and realigns work and team members to ensure efficient flow of key processes
Ensure daily KPI data is reported, including Day-by-Hour reporting
Makes corrections to processes that are at or above control limits.
Provides technical support for manufacturing difficulties; regularly submits continuous improvement ideas; supports team members in CI ideas
Requests and Continuous Improvement ideas; supports team members in ECR and CI ideas
Ability to work at any station or perform any task in assigned process
Identify and resolve bottlenecks in assembly process to ensure timely and efficient completion of production goals
Ensures downstream communication of Operational Objectives to production teams; communicates tooling, equipment and personnel issues to Area Supervisor
Sound communication skills, both verbal and written
Ability to analyze data and make recommendations
Ability to troubleshoot manufacturing defects
Must have three years experience in related manufacturing process or leadership position
Ability to identify, resolve and communicate personnel issues
Special Skills Required/Desired:
High school diploma or equivalent- Required
Basic Mechanical aptitude ? Required
Basic Math Skills - Required
Knowledge of hand tools ? Required
Ability to read diagrams/prints ? Required
Electrical/Electrical Assembly experience ? Desired
Knowledge of Pneumatic Hand Tools ? Desired
Ability to follow direction and work in a team environment - Required
Equipment Used:
Hand tools, cutting machine, cable strippers, panduit machine, strippers, power tools, pneumatic tools, pallet jack, hoists, ladders, forklift
Physical Demands/ Working Conditions:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is constantly required to use hands to finger, handle, or touch objects, tools, or controls.
Constantly perform repetitive tasks.
The employee is constantly required to stand extended periods of time; walk; reach above shoulders; stoop, kneel, and crouch.
Specific vision abilities required by this position include close vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
Frequent pushing and pulling of carts, pallet jacks and units with up to 32 lbs of force.
Constant lifting of up to 50lbs without assistance or equipment.
Ability to work overtime as needed.
(Occasionally=1-25% of the time; frequently=26-75% of the time; constantly=76-100% of the time)

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
