Our client needs to add a Project Manager to their team. This is a job shop environment where communication with their clients is the key to success. This person must have a positive make it happen attitude. This plant is located near Berlin. Our client is a growing successful manufacturing company. It is not expected that a person will come in with knowledge of how to do all the parts to this job. However a desire to learn and paired with an excellent attitude, time in manufacturing and strong communication skills will make you a viable candidate.
Requirements:
2
years' experience in Project Management in a manufacturing company
Customer Relationship, Quoting and Estimating experience
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Strong drive, high energy and a positive attitude
Excellent organizational skills, being self-directed and the ability to multi-task
Beneficial
Experience:
Ability to read and interpret engineered drawings / blueprints
Experience with metals and/or plastics
Mechanical apptitude
Strong computer skills including Word and Excel
Duties:
Communicate with customers and sales force to understand requirements and take responsibility for complete project management
Requests internal estimate pricing
Contacts outside vendors for pricing and lead-time on outsourced components
Source new suppliers that provide capabilities specific to POP business direction
Completes estimate spreadsheet for Value Add Displays, determines sell price and issues formal quotations to customers
Upon receipt of order enters simple BOMs for value add displays
Provide direction to procurement for outside vendor purchases and to internal production team.
Create and manage planning documents
Follow-up on all aspects of project development to assure projects are shipping on time and at budget
