Our client is a growing metal and plastic fabrication job shop. One of their key employees, Estimator / Production Planner will be retiring and they would like to hire ASAP in order to make a smooth transition. This is a well- established company located near the Fox Valley and easily commutable to Oshkosh and Appleton. Production estimating and planning skills would be ideal for by our client but even more important is finding a high energy, independent leader with the ability to multitask. Some training is expected so if you are local, have a bachelors and strong math skills and are out of manufacturing please consider this unique opportunity.

Bachelor's degree with strong math and reasoning skills
3+ years' experience in a manufacturing, preferably a job shop environment.
The Broader your knowledge of materials the better
Superior organizational and prioritization skills
Creative team player who is self-directed and a proven troubleshooter
Strong computer skills including: Word and Excel
Must be able to thrive in a fast paced constantly changing environment
Strong written and verbal communication skills used when communicating with customers, suppliers, and all levels of company personnel
Skills using and ERP system and AutoCAD would pluses
Work with customers to determine their needs from informal sketches, written and verbal directions to engineered drawings and specifications then correlate them to company processes & supplier capabilities
Prepare accurate cost estimates by gathering information from both internal and external sources, calculating time requirements to produce product and determining material cost structures
From cost estimates develop production plan, bills of materials and routings
Analysis of closed jobs for process improvements
Utilized ERP/MRP system in support of primary duties

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
