Magnum Power Products, a manufacturing plant located in Berlin-WI, is currently recruiting for a Warehouse Lead - 1st Shift . Under the direction of the Materials Supervisor, the Warehouse Lead will be responsible for daily execution of first-shift material handling activities at Magnum's Assembly Plant 1. Activities include receiving, staging and line-side presentation of materials. In addition, this position will be responsible for supporting Operational Excellence objectives aimed at improving material velocity from staging to line-side locations.
_Primary
Responsibilities:_
Practice and enforce safe work habits and Magnum safety guidelines, responds to safety hazards identified by coworkers, reports unsafe conditions to management
Operate forklift, hoist and other equipment to transport materials to specified areas of the plant, taking care to ensure quality of materials
Ensures daily standard work goals are met, balances resources as required to meet goals
Support cross-training initiatives that build a high performance work team
Utilize ERP system to print daily pick reports, perform part location inquiries and transactions
Responsible and accountable for inventory accuracy, ensures best-in-class inventory accuracy
Ensure returnable packaging and dunnage is sorted and staged for return to outside suppliers
Clean up and dispose of scrap bracing, cardboard and strapping, de-trash materials as needed
Ensures timely flow of material from dock to stock, consolidation of inventory locations
Drive company vehicles for the purpose of miscellaneous deliveries and/or shipments
Ensures daily pre-use inspection sheet process is followed
Ensures all standard documented procedures for warehousing are followed and used as training guides for onboarding
Enforces clean work area free of clutter, miscellaneous packaging material and other debris holds work team accountable for highest level of standard for work place organization
Provide solutions for optimum use of warehousing and line stocking areas
Physical Demands:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, or touch objects, tools, or controls. The employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; reach above shoulders; stoop, kneel, and crouch. Specific vision abilities required by this position include close vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.

Qualifications:
High school diploma and 3 years of warehouse and/or shipping experience, including operation of forklift
Ability to lift 50 pounds
Forklift certification or ability to be certified
Understanding of and ability to utilize Inventory Management Systems
Familiarity with the principles of production materials flow and planning
Attention to detail and accuracy in recordkeeping
Ability to prioritize work and assign in order to meet deadlines
Ability to work overtime as required
Ability to provide direction
