Magnum Power Products is looking to add a Supply Chain Manager to it's growing team in Berlin, WI. The Supply Chain Manager is an integral operation partner providing leadership to help improve customer service levels (Fill Rate), working capital (Inventory Turns) and drive material margin improvements (Sourcing Savings). This role is responsible for driving business solutions and practices utilizing Magnum's Operating Model to develop a demand driven Supply Chain approach. The Supply Chain Leader will organize and implement strategic initiatives and standardized approaches in Demand Management and Tactical Purchasing.
Success in this role is defined by driving significant step function changes in demand fulfillment capabilities. This will be measured by ongoing improvements in fill rate, working capital and material margins (total cost of ownership). Reports directly to Operations VP and provides leadership to Planning and Purchasing Team.
Key Duties:
Help define and deploy Magnum's disciplined operating model in supply chain that supports operational excellence and both short-term and long range plans
Ensure Supply Chain synchronized with Production Execution capabilities to maximum efficiencies and lowest cost of operation
Work closely with Value Stream Leaders (Production Leaders) and their teams to achieve SMART goals and KPI's
Develop and challenge resources to improve performance through systems utilization and process improvements
Lead and improve Order Management best practices, processes and policies that drive perfect order logic including order types/policies, standardized lead times/tier pricing strategies, available-to-promise (ATP), customer resource management (CRM) and electronic data interchange (EDI)
Lead and improve Demand Planning/Management using a One Number Plan approach and methodology to align financial, operation and material plans.
Lead and improve Tactical Purchasing in conjunction with MAGNUMs Strategic Global Sourcing team to reduce lead times and improve material margins through Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) model.
Lead and improve Material/Inventory Management best practices including Plan for Every Part (PFEP)., ABC Analysis, Purchasing Methods (PO, Blanket, etc), and Advance Replenishment Methods (MRP, Stocking Programs, VMI, Consignment, Re-Order Point and Direct Pull)
Leads initiative to ensure continuity of supply throughout the operations to achieve uninterrupted supply of quality components and assemblies.
Responsible for maintaining scorecard of local suppliers in key categories for quality, delivery and costs
Champions standard MAGNUM tools and methodologies and is a recognized subject matter expert (SME) providing training and certification.
Coaches and mentors his/her Supply Chain teams to improve engagement with local technical/commercial stakeholders and to establish communication channels between the cross functional teams.
Basic
Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree required (preferably Engineering, Business or Industrial)
7-10 years of experience with 5 years in a supervisory role
Proven Experience as an ERP/MRP Super user
Demonstrated experience in a strong lean manufacturing environment.
Demonstrated ability to influence senior management, teams and individuals across multiple cultures, disciplines and geographies
Experience in collaborating with multiple sites and functions to drive common solutions
Proven background operating in both High Mix, Low Volume and High Volume, Low Mix Production environments
Additional Skills Preferred:
Strong organization and time management skills
Solid quantitative skill set and the ability to analyze, think and communicate with well-supported data
Experience with SAP preferred
Advance Degree, MS and/or MBA preferred.
Experience with Demand Flow Principles and Practices.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
