THIS ROLE DOES NOT SUPPORT REMOTE WORKALL WORK WILL BE PERFORMED IN BERLIN, WI Residential DesignWere you the kid who grew up building entire neighborhoods out of plastic blocks? Can you now make those childhood dream-homes into reality? Drexel Building Supply has the perfect position for you! We are looking for an out-of-this-world person who has the creativity and passion to make client's dreams come true through your ability to design sensational homes.
ABOUT THE RESIDENTIAL DESIGN ROLEDevelop concept floor plan layouts and exterior elevationsResidential Designer will take concept floor plans/elevations and transform them into construction documents (Blue Prints)Comfortable with using computersAn absolute math wizardMake dream homes become reality by working directly with clients to discuss their wants/needsUnderstand roof, truss & floor loads.
Residential Designer will provide clients with the BEST service they have ever experiencedAbility to meet deadlines and work under pressure.
Must be detail oriented, organized and have a creative mind!No experience necessary; we'll train the right people, but if you have experience, that's awesome too!A rockstar at communicationAs you grow in your role you will assist in training and motivating new team membersYOUR PRIOR WORK EXPERIENCERevit or similar experience a PLUS, but not a requirementIt would be great if your experience encompasses these four things:
Your background involves putting customers firstYou have been a HUGE contributor to the success of a teamYou are known to be the point person for product knowledgeYou are uniquely you and bring something to the table that no one else canYou have done some great things that don't necessarily fall into the career path above but that's what makes you cool!
